MINDFUL BASED sTRESS REDUCTION ~ MBSR

INTERESTED IN MAKING CHANGES TO THE STRESS IN YOUR LIFE?   Want help dealing with pain, healing, anxiety? 
Are you experiencing stress related to every day life? From physical &/or mental health issues such as heart disease, chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, panic, anxiety, depression, SAD, sleep disturbance, headaches?
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction,     MBSR,  is the gold standard in mindfulness. This 8 week program gives you tools to help you cope with stress and your reactions to stress and pain. 
MBSR includes practical instruction about how we response to stress and pain, as well as intensive training in mindfulness techniques such as meditation, yoga, breathing and relaxation. This 8 weekly course, plus a full day intensive, is provided to you by our local Community Health Centre free of charge.​

​BOunce back and Thrive! (BBT!)

BBT is a 10 week program for parents with children 7 and under. In this creative, fun program parents learn and practice increasing their resiliency skills, regulating emotions, controlling impulses, responding to stress, increasing empathy and positivity,  as well as ways to enhance their children's resiliency. We all benefit when we can Bounce Back and Thrive from life's adversities. Please contact to arrange a program in your area.

Our History

Sandy has been practicing mindfulness, meditation and or yoga since 1977.  She trained as a yoga instructor in 2006 in yoga therapy in 2014 and in BBT in 2007 and MBSR in 2017.
